Description
This newly conceived exhibition features works from Corpaato's professional life as a master butcher, along with performance art actions planned during the season. Corpaato, known for his provocative use of everyday scenes from the meat market and his vibrant, colorful paintings, blends his identity as a butcher with his art. Inspired by naive art and the New Realists, his works reflect modern consumption habits and everyday reality, often created with passion and speed. The exhibition also explores his unique linguistic style, switching between French and Freiburg dialect, embodying the tolerant culture of the Röstigraben region.
