Ephraim Giepen performs his Way Home Liveset, depicting eleven scenes of a fictional story set to a beat-heavy soundtrack. Urban beats and industrial noises meet expansive soundscapes of natural sounds, analog synthesizers, and baritone guitar. The abstract images of projections by media artist Tobias Gallé reflect the story behind the music and leave room for individual interpretation. MiYAKO has been part of the Karlsruhe scene for electronic music for over ten years. Her path has led her through collectives, self-organized raves, radio shows, and club nights — always with a close connection to DIY culture and a vibrant community. Over the years, her sound has continuously evolved and moves — depending on feeling, place, and idea — between deep house, breaks, ambient, and dub techno with trance influences. Her selection is born from a clear vision for each set and follows the music that touches her in the moment.
