Through a funny and moving performance, Émeric Cheseaux tells the story of his departure from the village where he was born in Valais to the 'big city'. A tale of emancipation and self-assertion, La révérence takes us into the most intimate family relationships where two subjects dear to his performer clash: the rural environment he comes from and his 'difference'.
