In 2017, the paths of Elina Duni and Rob Luft crossed at the Montreux Jazz Festival – an encounter that marked the beginning of a unique project. Since then, the two have toured the world and released two critically acclaimed albums on ECM Records in quartet formation. Their planned album for 2026, a reduced duo production, now returns to the essence of their first meeting. Here, we experience the simple beauty of Elina Duni's singing, which merges with Rob Luft's crystal-clear guitar sounds into a hypnotic dance. Together, they weave a tapestry of songs that evoke the mystery and joy of the night, the moon, and the magic living within us all.
