A Living Field Guide: Zugerberg Edition

Description

Where: Join us on Zugerberg for a completely free discovery workshop where nature becomes the teacher, the studio, and the storybook. Who: This gathering is open to all ages and thrives on a shared curiosity about the vibrant world and a desire for a deeper connection to the landscapes around us. Each session invites participants to slow down and explore through art, observation, and discovery. A selection of identification and reference books will be available to help us name what we find and build a relationship with it. What: Together, we will start creating our own personal nature guides — a living document of what we see, sketch, collect — in memory and drawing — and learn. Participants are asked to bring: A sketchbook with blank or unlined pages — this will become your personal nature guide
All preferred materials for drawing, photographing, and/or writing — pencils, pens, watercolors, camera, etc.
Weather-appropriate clothing and a dose of curiosity. There is no set outcome — each experience and each nature guide is unique. You are free to design, structure, and fill your pages as it feels right for you. The goal is not perfection, but relationship: with the plants, the place, and the act of observing. This is a relaxed, family-friendly experience held outdoors in all weather — rain or shine, hopefully sunshine. Languages: English and German, once a month.

General Information
