Easter at Valtice Castle

Description

During the Easter weekend, we traditionally prepare a rich program for the general public at Valtice Castle, featuring a market and the Spring Castle Tour. Guided tours will be available, with the Main Tour and the castle souvenir shop open. Tours will start at 9:00 AM, with the last tour departing at 4:00 PM. Castle tours will also be available on Easter Monday. The main tour will be decorated for spring and Easter, with noble castle rooms complemented by original Czech and Moravian glass Easter eggs, figurines, and birds from local producers. Guided tours of the castle chapel will take place from Friday to Monday (inclusive) at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 3:30 PM. On the same days, visitors can also visit the castle's baroque theater at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Tickets for all tours will be available for purchase on-site at the main ticket office, in the Castle Joy shop, and at the bookstore in the courtyard, with the option to buy online. Cimbalom music will be performed in the inner courtyard; the program will be specified. Accompanying program: On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, a market will take place, with stalls featuring handmade products in front of the castle, and food stalls and Valtice wines in the inner courtyard. The castle's honor courtyard will be adorned with giant eggs decorated by children from the Valtice Primary School, and the inner courtyard will be filled with cimbalom music. The White Hall, located close to the inner courtyard, will host workshops for children. Tickets for castle tours are available at regular prices at the castle ticket offices, and entry to the event is free. Program changes reserved.
