Kristýna Kmentová, Uladzimir Ivanou choreography As part of traditional educational programs, students from elementary schools will be presented with music in connection with dance, especially ballet, which is an inseparable part of French cultural wealth, for the very first time in the history of LVHF. The Junior Ballet Company NdB2, led by former soloist Uadzimir Ivanou, will take children in period costumes not only to the musical and dance stages of 14th century France but will also introduce them through short educational videos to the cultural and historical context of European events at that time. At the same time, it will present a cross-section of various dance styles from prehistoric rhythms to contemporary social dances and show them how music and dance are connected to the everyday life of society. The 11th edition of the Lednice-Valtice Music Festival will be imbued with the spirit of French elegance and European cultural diplomacy of the 18th and 19th centuries. It will offer listeners a journey from the shining Baroque to modern music. September and October 2026 will become a period of exceptionally diverse cultural experiences. LVHF brings several program innovations – in addition to concerts, lectures, and music-art projects for children, this year's festival includes dance performances and dance workshops. The main inspiration for this year's edition is the golden carriage of Prince Josef Václav of Liechtenstein, a symbol of refined taste and noble representation. The festival takes place from September 19 to October 17, 2026.
