Three friends from different cultures embark on a musical journey from the Baltics to the Balkans as "Duo Balanticum" on this evening. In search of the origin of music, they combine Nordic sound clarity with Southern European expressiveness, making similarities and differences audible. If you're wondering where the "+" in the name comes from: An invitation to the Bodensee Festival expanded the original duo with a pianist. The Swedish musician Lars Jönsson has been enriching the program with another Nordic perspective since this experience and broadening the duo's sound spectrum. Works by, among others, Bach, Klughardt, Shostakovich, and Siklósi inspire the audience evening after evening and will also cause amazement and goosebumps in Freudenstadt. Venue
