Ds Schmocker Lisi

Description

The simple country girl Elisi Schmocker takes up her first job as a maid in Bern at the house of Commander Alfred Schnetzler. Elisi's diligence soon brings her to Bremgarten Castle to Alfred's brother Daniel Schnetzler. The still single lord of the castle likes the fresh girl from the countryside; however, Lisi is a thorn in the side of his grumpy housekeeper. And so begins a back and forth with overzealous women, longing for love, and misunderstandings. Even though the political events of that time have largely been forgotten today, the human nuances have lost none of their timeless relevance.
