Description

A seventeen-member drumming band traversing genres. Drum For Fun from Chrudim is interesting not only because the rhythmic section consists of twelve percussion instruments (djembe, darbukas, timbales, congas, plastic barrels, symphonic bass drum by Adams), but also because all these percussions are mastered by the female members of the band. The band's repertoire flows freely through rock, pop, Latin, ethno, and punk. The majority of the songs and lyrics are credited to the Kudrnáč siblings. Like the rest of the band, they have rich experience from several other musical projects (e.g., Chocolate Jesus, KYX Orchestra, Pískomil se vrací, and others). In its 7 years of existence, the band has performed countless concerts at both larger and smaller events and festivals. In 2021, the band released its debut album titled A je to tady! Vojtěch Kudrnáč – percussion, vocals / Kristýna Kudrnáčová – vocals / Dušan Zíta – guitar / Štěpán Kincl – bass guitar / Otakar Štěpánek – drums + 12 female members of the rhythmic section, players of percussion instruments.
