Ilva Eigus and Alexandra Dovgan are not only among the most talented and promising young soloists of their generation, but they also share a deep friendship. It is therefore especially pleasing that Camerata Schweiz will be able to present the two young world-class soloists together for the first time with an orchestra. And this under the baton of the internationally renowned conductor Howard Griffiths, who is particularly connected to Bern. While Ilva Eigus caused a sensation in the classical scene from Switzerland with numerous competition wins and notable performances, Alexandra Dovgan has conquered the world stage from Spain. In 2024, she was awarded the highly endowed «Prix Serdang», curated by Rudolf Buchbinder – undoubtedly an essential insight into the classical world of tomorrow with two wonderful works from the Romantic era!
