Description

Music, painting, and literature have always inspired each other. A poem by Dorothy Molloy evokes memories of sounds for Clara Iannotta, while Helena Cánovas Parés translates the physicality of a quote from the Catalan author Mercè Rodoreda into music.
Johannes Schöllhorn, in turn, draws inspiration from Domenico Tiepolo's series of images "Divertimento per li regazzi" to create a large musical sequence of images. Sharp and vivid moments meet melancholic, morbid, and obsessive sound worlds, making connections between our present and a far from idyllic past audible. Participants and additional information:
