“Is the little innocent Jesus in the manger the same as the man nailed to the cross? This probably isn't much of a fairy tale for children, teacher. I don't really want to play this.” “Don't worry, Vojtěch, like every good fairy tale, this one will also have a happy ending.” Puppeteer, jester, and comedian Vojtěch meets with his teacher to perform the Easter story together. While Vojtěch, as a puppeteer, has prepared a classic puppet theater with a proscenium stage and puppets from folk tales, the teacher arrives equipped only with an old Bible. Nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, they manage to bring to life the ancient story of love and self-sacrifice for others, for all of us.
