A kitchen where housewives chat mischievously about things that remain an eternal mystery to men. A place where the Sunday goose is roasted in the oven, where behind the flour in the cupboard we find a hidden bottle of spirits, where we don't hear crying from the room where we teach our daughters to cut cookies and the know-how to become a model wife and housekeeper. The kitchen, as a natural environment for women. What? Isn't it every man's wish to have a model wife at home who always satisfies him sexually and is also a diligent housekeeper who perfectly tidies up the household after returning from work? Ladies and gentlemen - well, gentlemen - this is kitchen porn. Two in one. Perfection! Or maybe not. Kitchen porn as a parody of unrealistic expectations that society places on women. Even the basic question of what a woman is and who she is may not have a clear answer. Yet many feel entitled to preach to women about how they should be. What defines a woman? And how does she see herself? From childhood, we tend to judge ourselves through the eyes of others. Through parents, classmates, friends, role models, and idols. Thus, we form opinions not only about the world but also about ourselves. Unknowingly, we may shape ourselves into the images of others. We want to measure up, we want to resemble. We adopt behavioral patterns and continue entrenched stereotypes. Generational heritage, views on women and their status are passed down from parents to children just like handwritten recipes from our great-grandmothers. Family secrets are shared, cookbooks are borrowed. Generational traumas and unhealthy behavior patterns are transmitted. We sense who society wants us to be, but who do we really want to be? Will we settle for what has been drilled into our heads for centuries, or will we have to redefine the concept of femininity? Tereza and Kristýna will guide you through the life of a woman as they perceive it, both experienced and future, and will attempt to outline how paradoxical and absurd their position in society can sometimes be.
