They are actually invited by their friend Benno to meet his new, significantly younger partner Rosa. However, Felix decides, much to Trude's dismay, to boycott the invitation to make a statement against Benno's relationship. So Felix and Trude spend the evening reluctantly together – and their intimacy quickly turns into a test of endurance. What begins as harmless distraction attempts turns into a ruthless exchange of blows: suppressed desires surface, long-held truths reveal themselves as lies. Eventually, the real reason for Felix's boycott comes to light.
