Description

During the holidays, Peter and Debbie befriend Elsa, a lively widow from Denver. Months later, she invites herself over – and the two are too polite to say no. Elsa turns out to be a dangerous threat, as she is a wanted murderer. The daily life of the teacher's family is thoroughly shaken up. How do you get rid of the unwanted visitor without seeming ruthless or hostile? Especially since Elsa also has a very positive influence on the moody children. This comedy is a nonstop laugh riot and teaches us a lot about Swiss politeness at the wrong moment. The boulevard hit celebrated in England, written by Steven Moffat, the author of successful series like "Sherlock" and "Doctor Who", will have its Swiss premiere from January 24, 2026, at the Bernhard Theater in Zurich – in a brilliant dialect adaptation by Hanna Scheuring.
