192nd Legorenfasnacht Grand Parade

Description

On Güdelzischtig, the parade starts punctually at 1:15 PM at the Gasthaus Hirschen and moves along the main street towards Unterdorf. The creatively decorated floats, the carefree humor, and the subtle wit in the individual themes based on local and global events are of high quality, and the spontaneity of the participants knows no bounds. After the stage performance around 3:30 PM, the original "Legoren-Päckli" will be handed out as the highlight of Fasnacht for children at the ZVB area. Afterwards, the Legoren – led by drummers – will go from inn to inn distributing oranges, sweets, sausages, and bread to children and adults. At 6:35 PM, the traditional Fasnachtsvergraben takes place on the village square, and a final triple cheer of "Lebehoch" is called out, among others, for authorities, clergy, teachers, doctors, midwives, and all benefactors.

General Information

The 192nd Legorenfasnacht in Oberägeri takes place on Güdelzischtig and features a colorful parade along the main street. After the parade, children receive the original "Legoren-Päckli" and the Legoren distribute candies and oranges at the inns.
