Description
Comedy based on the screenplay by Ulrike Grote Two feuding Baden villages. Forbidden love. In the middle, a church and a prospective American buyer. It means: stick together! Unter- and Oberrieslingen share a cemetery and a church. They've been fighting about it forever. The ongoing feud is evident in the Häberle (Oberrieslingen) and Rossbauer (Unterrieslingen) families. Oma Häberle has an accident due to a pothole at the town border. An American wants to buy the church. And among the young people of the villages, there are forbidden love relationships. This causes new conflicts. The signs point to a storm. Is there still a happy ending possible for Klara Häberle and Peter Rossbauer? Ulrike Grote lovingly satirizes the hate-love of a fateful community in her successful film comedy from 2012. At the Badische Landesbühne, it becomes top-notch folk theater in Baden dialect – with an ironic wink. -- Age recommendation: from 12 years
