An absurd drama of the 1930s. It is the 760,839,000th anniversary of the creation of the world. But God no longer wants to know about humans. Because they argue nonstop. Then a newspaper ad from the League of Nations appears, seeking a new dear God. Displeased, God sends Peter with two angels to Geneva. But even divine envoys find it difficult – without authority, without a valid passport. A colorful game of confusion begins. The long-forgotten and suppressed Viennese writer Maria Lazar (1895-1948) wrote Hell on Earth in the 1930s. The piece was rediscovered and premiered again in September 2024.
