Die ganze Welt - Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen

Description

Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen comedy by Theresia Walser and Karl-Heinz Ott Regina and Richard are social misfits and like to stay at home. Wild parties and adventurous holidays – they've already experienced all that. Or so they tell themselves. And they hate surprise visits. Too bad, because suddenly Tina and Dolf are standing at the door with a schnitzel platter and salad. Reluctantly, the different couples start talking about everything over food and wine: the next vacation in Brittany, what the children are doing, affairs and back problems, wills and couples' saunas. Two life concepts clash: Tina and Dolf like to lay all their cards on the table, while Regina and Richard prefer to remain silent. On an evening full of common truths, ambiguities, and life lies, there is a heated exchange, and a sharp verbal battle ensues.
With sharp humor and a special sensitivity for character types and punchlines, the play offers a delightful insight into the tragicomedy of modern relationships' "whole world." Tickets: €29
