They have managed to captivate audiences of all ages with their mix of seriousness and humor, depth and lightness. As ambassadors of Berlin, they accompanied the German Federal President on state visits. They have visited the Japanese Imperial Palace multiple times. Their CDs regularly appear on the charts and have been awarded the 'Echo Klassik' in 2001 and 2005.
