Steven, or Stivi as many call him, was born in 1986. He became known due to his severe accident in May 2006. During a bungee jump from the Ganter Bridge, the rope snapped. He fell 150 meters, survived severely injured, and lost his eyesight.
In 2011, he published the book Der Blindgänger together with Nils Walter. Today, he lives in Adelboden, trains for the 100-km Bieler Lauf, dreams of the Paralympics as a climber – and travels by train.
Not just from A to B, but right through vibrant life. Among commuters, daydreamers, drug dealers, ink models, and those who stare intently at their phones just to avoid starting a conversation. There, Steven collects stories. Stories that cannot be made up and yet are true.
From these encounters, his new book 'Der Goldfahrer' emerged, which he presents this evening.
