Deer Anna's sound is broad and delicate, her voice gentle and close. Her songs feel like cinematic scenes: narrative and poetic-metaphorical at the same time, carried by images that seem familiar and resonate long after. Despite their expansiveness, her pieces remain wonderfully intimate and personal. Deer Anna mainly appeals to those who are sometimes overwhelmed by their own thoughts and feelings. Those who need and cherish quiet moments in life. Her songs move between inner restlessness and melancholy, between detachment and closeness, creating a very special atmosphere. The Hamburg-based artist, whose style is similar to Adrienne Lenker, Phoebe Bridgers, or Sufjan Stevens, has already performed as a support act for The Beaches, TORRES, and Alice Boman. She has gained recognition through performances at the Reeperbahn Festival and MS Dockville. In addition to several solo tours in Germany, she will embark on her first Canada tour in 2024 with Canadian artist Marissa Burwell.
