Description
Farah is preparing tea and asks her mother to get olives and za'atar for breakfast when her world is suddenly turned upside down and her flight begins. In her diary, she seeks refuge and a language for what she experiences and feels:
«There are things that are hard to describe, simply because only those who have lived them truly understand.» في حاجات صعب وصفها لانه ببساطة مش رح يفهمها الا اللي عاشها «Deep Voices» is based on the diaries of Farah al-Ghoul and tells the story of her repeated displacement in Gaza. The play traces her journey – a path she shares with many other women who sought protection but never found it. Their fates intertwine with Farah's accounts into a narrative that is both intimate and universal. A production by Tahani Salim.
