David Castello-Lopes «Délicieux» 11.02.2027 Volkshaus Zürich «I almost called this show «The Pleasure». But then I thought that with such a title, people would probably only think of pleasures that are forbidden for under 18s. For financial reasons, I want even those under 18 to be able to attend my show. That's why I named it «Délicieux»: it is a family show. In one hour and fifteen minutes, I will try to unravel the complexity of what triggers joy in humans. Of course, joy can be caused by a glass of Chasselas enjoyed along the lakeshore in spring. But it can also be triggered by the death of someone you dislike. Naturally, an unexpected promotion in the company can bring joy. But so can eating Gruyère in Gruyères or knowing — if you are French — that you do not pronounce the «z» in Étivaz (which allows us to happily correct all the fools who make this mistake).
