Maud only wants to know one thing: Is the painting she accidentally bought at a flea market an original by the painter Jackson Pollock? She is convinced and has evidence for it. The art expert Percy says no, it is a forgery. This leads to a heated dispute, which soon is no longer about the authenticity of the painting, but about the credibility of the people involved and what ultimately matters. In view of the worldwide rampant fake news and deep fake culture, the performance seeks the answer to authenticity in honest and committed acting, in which two different people fight for their own truth and existence.
