Description

The badger is a shy predator and keeps its burrow clean. It is usually spotted near the forest edge after sunset. The urban badger, on the other hand, frequents poorly lit nightclubs and can even sing, preferably in falsetto: "I ha s’Selbstbewusstsi vome Müsli und mengmol au ais wienen Leu." Yes, that is St. Gallen dialect, as popular as Bernese German since Stahlberger! Behind this is Basil Kehl with his band DACHS, who became known seven years ago through his electro-pop anthem "Beat Breu." He likes handclap beats and chorus effects on the electric guitar that sound beautifully 80s. The surface is shiny but – beware! – double-edged, and from the dry ice fog emerge döner shops, pole vaulters, Selecta machines, or dead cats. Of course, love is always negotiated against this backdrop. Now the badger is coming with his new album (it has the somewhat quirky title "I wöt mir selber is Gsicht chotze") and is inviting a few friends on stage, whom we are also very excited about: the Lucerne songwriter TO ATHENA and the Rheintal rapper LUUK. And there will be more guests joining!
