Description

Fiesta de Antaño Laeiensembles play Latin American music. The chamber ensembles of Flor Stammer from Schaffhausen and Ivan Denes from Zurich perform traditional music of various styles from Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Cuba on symphonic instruments. Las Noches is an international festival for Ibero-American chamber music. It takes place from September 29 to October 4, 2026, for the sixth time at the Theater Stok Zurich. From salon music to ethnological culture, from big cities to the most remote villages – through the different countries, landscapes, epochs, migration movements, and influences, the music of Latin America, Spain, and Portugal presents an unimaginable diversity.
