Cuba is coming to Winterthur! On October 24, 2026, we are not just celebrating an anniversary – we are celebrating 25 years of Camaquito, Cuban joie de vivre, and a quarter-century of commitment to children and youth. From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Caribbean Pearl in Winterthur will transform into a little piece of Cuba. Look forward to authentic live music from Azúcar, Cuban rhythms, Caribbean vibes, and a few surprises. Of course, this day is not just about celebrating: we will show what Camaquito has achieved in the past 25 years, who is behind the organization – and why support for the people in Cuba is so important today. Admission is free At 4:30 PM, we start with a lecture about the origins, challenges, our projects, and the current situation in Cuba. Camaquito founder Mark Kuster will personally report on this. Afterwards, the event continues until 10:00 PM.
