Cream of Clapton - Live With their tribute to the guitar legend Eric Clapton, the band CREAM OF CLAPTON has been captivating audiences on the stages of southern Germany since their founding in 2015. Gerald Sänger (guitar and vocals) is widely known as a virtuoso guitarist who can also impress vocally. Together with his companions Matthias Schulz (keyboards), Claus Müller (drums), Barny Hoffmann (bass), and David Sänger (guitar), he plays through Eric Clapton's life's work with impressive quality, dedication, and ease, as rarely seen and heard. CREAM OF CLAPTON interprets Eric Clapton's work authentically and independently from his time with Cream, Blind Faith, Derek & The Dominos to today. A true treasure trove opens up, full of hits but also lesser-known “Eric Clapton song gems.” The band stamps many songs with their own style, allowing room for improvisation, including spontaneity and enthusiasm. The good background vocals complete the whole thing, so the band is truly no cheap copy of the original but a tribute to the great guitar legend Eric Clapton. Eric Clapton's music is great fun for the band as well as the audience. The “slow hand” is still captivating.
