ComicMyLife: Comic Workshops with Simon Kiener

Do you like stories? Do you enjoy sharing about your life? Have you always wanted to draw a comic, perhaps with yourself as the main character? Then my workshop is just right for you. I am Simon Kiener, and stories are the meaning of life for me. For several years, I have been documenting my life in self-drawn comics. Through drawing, I learn a lot about myself and my environment – and inspire others with it. Maybe you too? I am convinced that you can do this as well. In my workshop, I will show you step by step how to go from a simple idea to a finished comic page. Your work will be exhibited in December at Dock 8 (Warmbächli) together with other works – also from other courses – and published in a booklet. Of course, you will receive copies – so you don't have to worry about Christmas gifts this year. You will learn how to draw yourself as a comic character in different situations and can exchange ideas with other comic and drawing fans. The course takes place on October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Participation is free and everyone is welcome! From age 10. Registration here.
