Description

Have you always wanted to experience the technique used to draw comics? In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to work with a brush pen, bring characters to life, and tell a story without words. You are free to experiment, and you will receive many tips from the real comic everyday life of a professional. No prior knowledge required, just come by and start drawing!

A creative part of the workshop is the comic snippets: from existing images, you create new combinations and invent a completely different plot. The arrangement of the images determines the pace, tension, and course of the story. By using facial expressions and gestures deliberately, you make your characters express emotions and moods without words.

The workshop is led by Pirmin Beeler, comic artist and illustrator from Zug.

Target group: Youth aged 13–16 years
