Comedy Flex brings fresh talents and experienced comedians to the stage of the Reithalle, who turn everyday life upside down with wit and charm. Authentic, approachable, and full of sharp observations – each show is a unique experience with familiar faces and the most exciting newcomers in the scene. No one leaves dry-eyed! Featuring: Simon Pearce Simon Pearce comes from an artistic family. He is the son of Bavarian folk actress Christiane Blumhoff and a Nigerian restaurateur, as well as the grandson of actor and marionette puppeteer Franz Leonhard Schadt and folk actress Elga Blumhoff-Schadt. Simon Pearce has been in front of the camera and on stage since childhood. Besides roles in series such as "Solo für Sudmann," "Sturm der Liebe," "Hubert und Staller," and the "Rosenheim Cops," the Munich native has performed in various plays and was a regular ensemble member of the sketch show "Kanal Fatal" on Bavarian Television. After studying acting, Simon Pearce lends his voice as a dubbing artist to many series and film actors. He is often engaged at the Comedy Stadel and has also appeared as a guest actor at the Chiemgau Folk Theatre. Since 2014, Simon Pearce has regularly performed at the Siegener Apollo Theater and the Regensburg Tower Theater in front of sold-out audiences, playing the main role of Driss in the play "Ziemlich beste Freunde" based on the film of the same name by Èric Toledano and Olivier Nakache. To conquer the stage in all its variations, Simon Pearce decided to bring his comedic talent to the stage in its purest form. Since 2012, he has increasingly appeared as a stand-up cabaret artist. There, he humorously shares his experiences as a Black man among Black people in Bavaria and his inner conflict between Bavarian upbringing and the desire to be "a real N." without raising a finger. Sandra Schmidt Sandra Schmidt succinctly shares her life wisdom – of which she has many – with a sharp wit. The trained philosopher is super cool, very funny, and down-to-earth. She loves to win, hates walks, and doesn’t understand people who take cold showers. Sandra regularly appears at Nightwash Live, Comedyflash, the Downstairs Comedy Club, at the Night of Comedy, or at one or another TV recording on ARD and ZDF. Philipp Stieglitz The young comedian shows his relaxed way of dealing humorously with personal hurdles from his life, which regularly delights the audience. Despite his budding career, the native Augsburg can already call himself a two-time winner of the GTD Comedy Slam. Unlike many of his comedy colleagues, he does not run a podcast and has not yet written a book – for the sake of all fellow humans, this remains so for now. Aaron Gehring Aaron Gehring is an emerging comedian from Freiburg. Since the beginning of last year, the Freiburg newcomer has been shaking up the open mics and comedy stages of the region and bringing his own humor to Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Basel, Strasbourg – and of course always back to his hometown Freiburg and surroundings. With distinctive dry humor and dynamic physical comedy, Aaron examines seemingly unremarkable everyday situations: from his own eye surgery and hospital stay to the banal trip to the supermarket. With a keen sense of timing and punchline, he transforms these moments into captivating, surprisingly funny acts that linger long with the audience.
