Yuval Weinberg, conductor Sing-along concert for school classes & choirs from grade 5 A classic of SWR music education visiting Friedrichshafen: the Christmas concert for listening and singing along! Singing Christmas Carols together is as much a part of Christmas in England as Plum Pudding, Turkey, or Father Christmas. Inspired by this tradition, the SWR Vocal Ensemble has combined well-known Christmas melodies with other musical sounds. The concept is simple: school classes and school choirs prepare the Christmas Carols and Christmas songs selected by the SWR Vocal Ensemble, and on the day of the concert, they sing them together! Singing along – listening – sharing enthusiasm is the focus of this musical morning.
Recommended for schools and school choirs from grade 5. Sheet music with German and English texts will be provided. The event consists of a joint rehearsal and the concert. The event ends around 12 noon. Preparation is required. School classes: €9 per person, teachers free of charge.

General Information

The sing-along concert conducted by Yuval Weinberg takes place at the Graf-Zeppelin-Haus in Friedrichshafen. School classes and choirs prepare Christmas songs, which are then sung together. The event ends around 12 noon and is aimed at schools from grade 5 onwards.
