Description
INGEBORG BACHMANN, THE ONE I ONCE WAS
Germany 2026 / Director: Regina Schilling In a poetic quest for traces, director Regina Schilling shares with the audience the genesis of art: actress Sandra Hüller immerses herself in the life of Ingeborg Bachmann during an imaginary day, giving her words a striking presence. Through an artistic intertwining of improvised scenes, archival treasures, interviews, and texts by Bachmann herself, the film traces the key stages of the author's life—from her childhood marked by war in Carinthia to her rise as an iconic figure of Group 47, up to her last days in Rome. Her journey is marked by complex relationships with Paul Celan, Hans Werner Henze, and Max Frisch, as well as a fierce struggle to find a language that is her own and radical, balancing public fame and existential crises. Documentary, language: German, 97 min, suitable from 6 years old. Please use the online ticketing: www.staziun-lavin.ch. Some seats will be available at the box office from 10:30 am.
