1977, in a small village in Ticino: Mario, 16, is at a crossroads between adolescence and adulthood. At school and in life, many things waver, especially his relationship with his authoritarian father. For the summer, he is sent to the mountains to work in agriculture. There, he discovers a harsh but free world, where nature sets the pace. In this environment, Mario discovers new forms of responsibility, sensuality, and artistic self-determination – experiences that will permanently change his view of himself and his future.
