Description

This performance combines true stories, memories, and migration dreams. The starting point is the crossing of Nicola Calia and his son Angelantonio, who traveled from Italy to Buenos Aires in 1926, driven by the hope of a better life. The artistic research leads from Southern Italy through Argentina to Ticino and explores movement, origin, courage, and the desire to build a new existence. From an emotional and physical family memory, a work emerges that links personal and collective migration experiences.
