Description

Christoph Voy does not simply photograph people. He gets right up close to them. The Tagesspiegel once described his photographs as images with a "punch" character: direct, spontaneous, and so close to the action that it's hard to look away. Voy himself does not see himself as an invisible observer. He becomes part of the situation – and it is precisely this mixture of familiarity, provocation, and intimacy that characterizes his photographs. The exhibition features works from various phases of his career and spans from Berlin club culture to music and fashion photography to his current portraits of artists and celebrities.
