Christmas Tours of Litomyšl Castle with a Revived Castle Kitchen

If you have questions about how Christmas was celebrated in noble circles, or whether aristocrats thought of their servants, then the tours of the festively decorated interiors of Litomyšl Castle are just for you. Since Emperor Franz Joseph I himself stayed at the castle in 1889, we will also transport ourselves to the Christmas imperial court. The castle chapel will feature a carved folk nativity scene. On Sunday, 20. 12. 2026, the Christmas tour will include demonstrations of organ music in the castle chapel. On both days, during the tour of the festively decorated interiors, you will visit the revived castle kitchen, where baking will take place and a short fairy tale story will be performed. Tickets are available online or on the day of the tours at the castle ticket office in the ground floor of the arcade courtyard (until capacity is reached).
