Join us for an evening where we will repair your souls Do you have a husband? Do you have a wife? Are you single? Are you a little unhappy or too carefree? Do you sometimes feel lonely, hate shopping, or suffer from being overweight? We have a remedy for many of your worries. And how do we do it? We make you forget about them during our show! For every little concern, we have a patch in the form of a duet, a sketch, stand-up, or a solo chanson. All of this from our own workshop and with a good dose of humor. You will listen not only to an author reading from the books of actress and author Martina Preissová but also to songs by singer and actress Dáša Zázvůrková. You will hear stories from the book "How I Wasn't at the Lions" and "Do They Have Glasses in Heaven?" read by the author herself, and we have prepared several songs that were created in the joint workshop of both protagonists. And there is much more that has emerged from our joint workshop. Don't worry that this is some moment of poetry! It is a meeting of two women on stage, each in their own way and sometimes together, repairing the souls of those who want to laugh and reflect. Let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of our temperaments, and we promise that on your way home, you will still be singing and smiling. During the evening, several Christmas songs will also be performed to create the right festive atmosphere. Repairers of your souls Martina Preissová is a Czech theater, television, and film actress. Since 2000, she has been a permanent member of the drama ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague and also guest stars on other Prague stages. She has been nominated for the Thálie Award twice (1999, 2004). In 2021, she published her debut. A collection of stories from life, the book How I Wasn't at the Lions and Other Stories, and subsequently published the short story novel Do They Have Glasses in Heaven?. You may also know her as a television actress from the series Hospital at the Edge of the City, Anatomy of Life, Sunny, or Friends, and from films like I Will Wake Up Yesterday, Mothers, and others. Dáša Zázvůrková is a Czech singer and actress. She studied non-verbal and comedic theater at HAMU under Boris Hybner and Italian studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. From 2003 to 2014, she was an external member of the SEMAFOR theater. She also played the role of Vanilla in the jazz opera Well-Paid Walk at the National Theatre (2007). Currently, she is engaged in authorial work, and you may know her from the successful performance We Can Even with a Man. She is currently celebrating success with the project Tribute to Hana Hegerová, where she interprets the hits of the legend of Czech chanson. The concert In the Colors of Semafor brings the best of the works of Suchý and Šlitr.
