On Sunday, 20.12.2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we warmly invite you to Piaristické náměstí, Panská, and Hroznová streets, where a craft Christmas fair will once again take place, featuring the sale of traditional handmade, artistic, and folk products. Craftsmen and creators from not only the region but also from across the country gather for this event, even if just for one day.
It primarily involves the pre-Christmas sale of traditional folk art, such as Christmas decorations, gingerbread, candles, bobbin lace, crochet, knotted, felted, and woven products, ceramics, wood carvings, folk toys, dried arrangements, jewelry, and other small gifts for joy. Additionally, visitors can look forward to old Czech delicacies, the sale of mistletoe, game, and pheasants.
This event is and has always been about bringing together people of good will, craftsmen, and folk artists. The Christmas atmosphere is enhanced not only by the setting of the 'old town' but also by performances from folk artistic ensembles and street artists. We invite all people of good will to come and meet for the twenty-seventh time at this traditional Christmas event, to sing carols and enjoy the good Christmas spirit.
