Piotr Alexewicz, piano

Born in 2000, the Polish pianist initially studied at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. He is currently studying under Prof. Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts. He received the Prof. Zbigniew Drzewiecki Prize at the Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, the world's most prestigious piano competition.

In 2019, the National Frédéric Chopin Institute released his first album featuring works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel. In 2024, an album with all 26 Chopin Preludes was released.

In 2021, he received the inaugural "Young Promoter of Poland" award, presented by Poland's First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda. In 2019, he performed "Hommage to Clara Schumann" at the Chopin Festival in Paris. In 2023, he toured Japan with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra performing Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto.
