Additional special guests (depending on the date) Duration: approx. 2 hours (including a break after about 55 minutes) After the successful preview as part of our Berlinale special program, the award-winning actor and singer Claudio Maniscalco now presents the premiere of his extensively revised and expanded Charles Aznavour evening. Together with Bijan Azadian on piano, he embarks on a journey through Aznavour's life and songs.
The audience will encounter other famous personalities such as Edith Piaf and will see how a large travel suitcase on stage gradually unfolds into a whole world. Popular chansons like La Bohème, Sie, La Mamma, Du lässt dich gehen, and many more will be heard. The evening's special guest includes our director Alina Gause, who, together with Claudio Maniscalco, interprets selected duets. Enjoy a concert show that goes far beyond a traditional song evening and is also a homage to one of the greatest chansonniers of the 20th century!
