CAT STEVENS PROJECT - EUROPE`S FINEST LIVE

Description

A CHARISMATIC SINGER - A STRONG BAND - ALL WORLD HITS
In 2014, Yusuf, formerly known as CAT STEVENS, was inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame. It was the overdue recognition of a musician who significantly shaped the sound of the seventies with his soothing folk-pop: an extraordinary composer, poet, and philosopher with a distinctive voice and inventive guitar technique. His depth, variety of songs, and the themes he addresses secure Cat Stevens an important place in rock history.
The Odenwald guitarist, singer, and music educator Adrian Schwartz can create an astonishing connection to Cat Stevens, the British folk and soft rock singer born in 1948, with just his voice. Schwartz and his collaborator Elmar Schork (guitar and vocals) do not see themselves simply as a cover band.
The two passionate musicians have thoroughly studied the style of their idol and follow songs like "Moonshadow," "Wild World," or "Lady D’Arbanville" with comments on the various songs from his albums.
