Italian and Swiss autumn specialties await you at the Castagnata (or chestnut festival) in Simplon village.
Starting at 11:00 AM, you can taste autumnal and cross-border delights in the village square of Simplon. While the cooks from our friend Trontano will offer you chestnuts, grapes, grilled salumi, and wine, the Simplon locals will treat you to specialties from the alpine cheese dairy, bakery delights, cured meats, and smoked fish. The event will be musically accompanied by 'Swing mit Kurt'. Entry is free.
