Description

First Proper Tour 2026 With their hit single Kiss Me, Sixpence None the Richer made music history: a song that embodies the magic of the late 90s like few others. The US band led by the enchanting singer Leigh Nash provided the soundtrack for an entire generation. In 2026, the band is finally going on a European tour again, bringing their timeless elegance to Papiersaal in Zurich on Saturday, October 24, 2026. With their melodic indie pop, poetic lyrics, and a sound that hovers between lightness and melancholic depth, Sixpence None the Richer created a musical legacy that still resonates today. Songs like There She Goes and Breathe Your Name continue to shape playlists, radio stations, and 'coming-of-age moments' - securing their place in pop culture. Additionally, their iconic song Kiss Me was featured in great high school comedies like She's All That and Not Another Teen Movie. In April 2025, Sixpence None the Richer released their first live album, Live at Gruene Hall, recorded at a sold-out home game in Texas's oldest dance hall. A strong sign of life that marks the beginning of a new chapter. Under the title First Proper Tour 2026, the band will start a new chapter next fall, presenting their work in a form that fans have long been longing for. An evening full of nostalgia and musical class - embedded in a show that celebrates both old hits and showcases the band's multifaceted development. For all who love the 90s, this evening is sure to be a must-attend event. Sixpence None the Richer invites you to relive the classics of their time and celebrate the sound of an entire generation. A journey back to the decade when a single song changed everything. Contributors: Sixpence None the Richer
