Storytelling Café «Hands at Work» Starting from the work of American artist Ruth Asawa, the Storytelling Café is dedicated to the theme of manual labor and material. It is an opportunity to share personal work experiences with one's hands, learn techniques, patience, repetition, and the slow emergence of a form – whether braiding, knitting, tinkering, or repairing. The Storytelling Café is a free offer from the Beyeler Foundation. In a friendly atmosphere, participants are invited to share personal experiences and anecdotes. Attentive listening to others evokes memories and opens new perspectives, leading to enriching exchanges. Facilitator: Monika Hungerbühler, theologian and feminist chaplain, trained in leading «Storytelling Café» sessions, accompanied by an artistic mediator from the Beyeler Foundation. Open to all interested persons from 18 years old. Free participation with ticket reservation.
