Cabinet of Juggling Curiosities – Brothers in Trick

Description

Myths, facts, arguments, and unexpected connections. An interactive performance blurring the lines between theater, new circus, stand-up comedy, and scientific lecture.
Have you ever wondered what and how many items someone has juggled? Did you know that the first mention of juggling comes from a 4000-year-old wall painting from Egypt? That Leonardo da Vinci was a decent juggler? That juggling for an hour burns 280 calories, roughly equivalent to the same time playing badminton? Or that juggling has remarkable effects on brain structure and that there is a mathematical notation for juggling? And last but not least, that the universe is, in fact, a fascinating juggling trick. What about juggling and theology? What about juggling and you!?
The Brothers in Trick production aims to present the history and background of juggling as a unique physical activity and circus discipline in a distinctive and interactive way. You can look forward to demonstrations, reconstructions of forgotten juggling techniques and tools.
To juggle means to be better!
This performance is not just a glorification of one circus discipline but also a thoughtful advocacy for juggling. All wrapped in the authentic and unique humor of the Brothers in Trick, who will serve you a performance that will make you want to throw it! Duration: 45 minutes
