Description

Sanna is ten years old and she paints clouds of anger. Her little brother Emil, on the other hand, has remained forever a single digit age. A year ago, Emil died. Since then, large clouds of anger have accompanied Sanna. But gradually, they change color. She remembers their games, the "pizza-paradise" they imagined, and Emil's frustration at having to leave so early. She also remembers all the questions she asked adults, questions to which no one seemed able to answer. Why is the sun so burning? Is death really the "big brother of sleep"? Do fish sleep? And will the dark clouds that Sanna has been drawing for a year ever clear up? Do they only have to? With tenderness, humor, and lucidity, this show gives voice to the thoughts of a child faced with absence. An invitation to explore, together, the small, the big, and the ultimate questions of life.
