With voice, language, and her unmistakable presence, she creates sound and image worlds – and hardly anyone can resist her authentic Bernese German. As part of «Brigitte simply tells», two forms of storytelling meet: Old, partly unknown fairy tales unfold their timeless power in new freshness. At the same time, stories are created directly from the moment. The audience throws words, sentence beginnings, images, or objects into the space – and no one knows where the journey will lead. This afternoon, she will be accompanied by the versatile Swiss bassist Wolfgang Zwiauer. With his intuitive musicality and stylistic openness – between jazz, improvised music, folk, pop, and experimental sound worlds – he becomes an equal storyteller. Together, they create stories and music from the moment: poetic, surprising, and full of joy of playing.
